Emily’s background is in communications, marketing, project management and event management. Emily began her career as regional broadcast journalist before making the move into local government as Communications and Marketing Officer for Parkes Shire Council.
Most recently, Emily worked for the Forbes Arts Society supporting the delivery and promotion of the Sculpture Down the Lachlan trail expansion, Gum Swamp redevelopment and a new Cultural Centre and Art Gallery.
Having spent most of her life in the region, Emily is passionate about the Central West. Emily and her young family call Forbes home.
